Styling a Hunter Bell Plaid Holiday Skirt Two Ways
One of my favorite new pieces for the holiday season is this beautiful plaid skirt from Hunter Bell. It’s festive without being over the top, and it’s one of those items that becomes more fun the more you style it. I recently shared a reel on Instagram where I styled this skirt four different ways (check it out here), but today I’m sharing two looks I photographed at home…proof that this skirt is every bit as versatile as it is charming. You’ll love having this classic skirt in your closet for years to come!
Look One: Classic Holiday
For the first look, I paired the plaid skirt with a red floral cropped jacket from Tuckernuck (you know I love pattern mixing). The colors complement the plaid perfectly, and the cropped length highlights the waist of the skirt. To finish the outfit, I added my tall gold boots (similar here), which bring just the right amount of shine! This look feels dressy, cheerful, and perfect for a holiday dinner or festive gathering…or even Christmas Eve.
Look Two: Cozy Neutrals With a Luxe Twist
The second look leans a little more classic and cozy. I styled the skirt with a black cardigan sweater trimmed with navy ribbon detailing along the buttons. I’m also wearing a pair of (almost vintage) velvet Gucci booties…sadly no longer available, but I’ve linked a similar pair of black suede booties that work beautifully. To elevate the outfit even more, I layered a long navy coat with a navy fur collar over the top. It’s warm, sophisticated, and ideal for those winter days when you want to be polished and cozy! This coat has a looser fit with a belt that’s perfect for layering over sweaters…it works great with jeans too!
If you’re looking for even more ideas, don’t forget to check out the Instagram reel I posted about a week ago where I share four different ways to style this same skirt. It’s amazing what one good piece can do!
Whether you go bold and festive or classic and chic, this Hunter Bell skirt truly deserves a spot in your holiday wardrobe…and beyond.
Thanks so much for reading today! I hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend so far!
