Summer Style - 5 Outfit Ideas for Late Spring and Summer

Greetings from Bald Head Island! We’ve had crazy weather this spring (even here) and there is no other way to put it! Every time I think the warm weather is here to stay, we have another cool snap and I’ve had the hardest time figuring out what to wear!

The outfits I’m sharing today from Boston Proper range from a full on summer dress to ideas for days when it may start off cool and get warmer.

Honestly, I’m ready for summer to begin…swimsuits, shorts and easy living!

I’m loving the ease of this cute, colorful poncho! It adds just enough of a layer to keep you warm and looks great with shorts and jeans and also can be worn as a swimsuit coverup! It’s such a statement piece, but versatile at the same time! The raffia belt gives me a little definition at the waist and adds another element of interest to this look! I’ve paired it all with off-white jeans and the cutest sandals from Dolce Vita!

The same jeans from the pictures above are worn with a classic and fabulous linen, sleeveless blouse to create a neutral look that will take you anywhere! I added the raffia belt for more interest and the Dolce Vita sandals go with everything and have a great, wearable heel height!

I absolutely love the ease of a pair of flowy palazzo pants in the summer! Add a tank and a cute pair of sandals, loads of summery necklaces and you’ve got the easiest outfit that will go from lunch to cocktails!

A classic sundress with a twist! This gorgeous dress is made from eyelet fabric with gold thread that shimmers in the sunshine! Perfect for a walk on the beach or anything else!

What could be more versatile than an off-white leather jacket! This one is collarless and has a peplum, but is still fitted and so flattering. The zippers on the sleeves allow you to push them up for a more casual look! The jacket is great with jeans, but obviously could be worn with so many other things and is basically seasonless!

If you’re looking for a few new pieces to update your spring and summer wardrobe, Boston Proper has you covered! Enjoy the boutique below and Happy Sunday!
