How I Styled My Studded Loafers - Street Meets Classic
“I envision myself as a woman whose wardrobe is a balance between timeless elegance and intriguing surprises…like these fabulous black studded loafers from The Office of Angela Scott!
This paired down look is made up of pieces that have been in my closet for a while combined with newer pieces. It feels classic and eclectic at the same time and it’s so me!!
When I first started to think about what to pair with these studded loafers for the photo shoot, the outfit was a little more complicated, but when I put it on…it just didn’t look quite right on me. There are endless options for wearing these loafers…after all, they are black loafers, but there was a look I was going for…street style with a more buttoned up classic feel, if that makes sense! I wanted to be a little more hip or unconventional.
Here’s what happened…I decided to style the jacket as a top with nothing underneath. It felt right for the time of year…when the weather isn’t too hot or too cool. I added the pearl necklace from Hart that I’ve really been wearing with everything because I love the softness of the pearls combined with the edginess of the studded loafers. I knew the jeans needed to be slightly cropped and I also rolled them once. I added the socks and I think they actually make the look! I bought them last season and this was the first time I wore them…I would also wear these lace socks (so fun!). The bag was a spontaneous grab as I was walking out of my closet, but I think it definitely works and I love the unexpectedness it adds to the look! I’ve had this bag for years and can’t link it, but you could possibly find it on Ebay or The Real Real.
Sometimes it just all comes together!
Living well is not just a lifestyle…it’s a curated style, but with substance, and a touch of flair!

I am completely obsessed with The Office of Angela Scott! I love the quality and craftsmanship of the shoes but more than anything…I love the way that I feel when I’m wearing them!
