Beach Days + The Nordstrom Anniversary Preview
The ocean is my happy place and I’m soaking in every bit of sunshine I can before this week is over!
Our whole family is here at Bald Head Island and it’s a little chaotic, but we’re having the best time! We’ve spent time on the beach and by the pool…cooked the best seafood and enjoyed each other! The kids are hysterical and always saying the cutest things and it’s so nice that we can all be here together!
Today, we’re all going on a sailing adventure and should be out for about 4 hours. The boys have never been on a sailboat and it’s an absolutely beautiful day! We’ll pack up some dinner and head out around 4…and I’ll be taking lots of pictures!
I’ve had this top from Sea New York for a little while now but wanted to wait until I got to the beach to wear it! Sea makes some of my favorite clothes and this is the perfect beach outfit! I love it with cropped white jeans although it’s really cute with jeans and jean shorts. We photographed this outfit on the beach, but I would actually wear it to a casual dinner or out and about on the island with a cute pair of sandals.
I also wanted to talk a little bit more about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because there are some seriously good deals to be had! The sale includes everything from women’s and men’s clothing and shoes to fine jewelry (this Michele watch is going to be in the sale), car seats (perfect grandmother gift), baby clothing, products and so much more! Like I said in the last post, it’s the perfect time to shop for fall items and even holiday!
The sale starts on July 17 this year and lasts until August 6th. If you’re a cardmember you get early access starting on July 11. If you’re not a cardmember, this is a great time to become one! My strategy is to go ahead and put the items I would like to purchase on my wish list so I can just hit the button when the sale starts! Baldy is even making his list this year!
I’m going to do my best to keep you posted about new items that become available every day to make the sale easier to shop! Remember the sale doesn’t start until Tuesday (if you’re a VIP cardmember), but you can add any of these items to your wishlist.
So…create a wishlist, set a budget (it’s easy to get carried away) and shop early to make sure your items don’t sell out!
