The Best Gifts for Mother's Day - Don't Forget It's May 10th!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! It’s hard to believe that it’s the end of April already and summer will be here before we know it!

Mother’s Day is only two weeks away (May 10 ) and even if you aren’t able to celebrate in person with your mother, you can still send (and receive) some beautiful gifts. I’ve chosen a few fabulous things that I would love to receive and give…I think there is something for almost everyone here. You can ship directly to your mother if you can’t be with her this year, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we can celebrate together! That would be an amazing gift!

Starting top left…but don’t worry, there’s a boutique at the end of the post to make shopping easier…

Vintner’s Daughter Serum is a one step multicorrectional serum that anyone can use! It contains powerful antioxidants and 22 active botanicals. It’s been the called “the face oil to end all face oils”. It’s a bit pricy, which is why it would make an amazing gift, but a little bit of this serum goes a long way, so you could call it the gift that keeps on giving!

What girl wouldn’t love the Tory Burch Mini Bucket Bag in pink? It’s the perfect compliment to all of those spring WFH outfits! It is however, a classic that will last for years and comes in several other colors if pink isn’t her thing!

Let’s talk about luxurious…Laura Mercier Créme Brulee Honey Bath is a foaming, honey scented moisturizing indulgence! Give her an evening with a glass of champagne, a warm bath and a good book! What could be better?!

Everyone loves the scent of roses and Jo Malone Red Roses Scented Home Candle is one of my favorites to burn. All Jo Malone gifts come packaged beautifully, so no gift wrapping is required!

Cult Gaia is one of the most coveted brands out there right now and the Coco Mini Cage Bag is one of their newest designs. This one is at the top of my list and is great to pair with everything from jeans to casual dresses!

I’ve been a fan of Jo Malone for more years than I can remember and love so many of the scents. This season, I want to try the Lavender and Coriander Cologne. It is described as “aromatic English lavender nestled in a thriving and fragrant herb garden, bolstered by the striking note of coriander. Earthy sage deepens the lavender’s timeless scent, while creamy tonka bean adds an unexpected touch of warmth and sensual balance.” You can’t go wrong with this one!

The last pair of Birkenstocks I had was probably at least 15 years ago, but I’ve decided it’s time to get another pair. The classic Arizona style gets an update in copper metallic so they’ll go with everything! I also have my eye on these white ones!

I cannot say enough about how I love my Dyson Hairdryer. It has saved my hair protect from heat damage with fast drying and controlled styling, and it really does dry my hair faster. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made and it would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift!

I chose three David Yurman pieces for my gift guide because it is classic, beautiful and timeless jewelry that everyone loves. I have pieces that I’ve been wearing for over 20 years and still love. The earrings pictured have just a touch of gold, and would look just as good with a pair of jeans as with a Chanel jacket. The bracelet is also a wear with everything piece…and the Origami Blackened Silver Crossover Ring (my favorite) is an unusual design that makes a statement in the best way! If you’re looking for a really special gift this year, you can’t go wrong with David Yurman.

Let’s face it…we still have a little more quarantine time whether we like it or not, so in my opinion, it’s good to be comfortable. These UGG Shearling Slippers are just too cute, and the dangerous thing is…you may never take them off!

It’s espadrille season and Tory Burch has come out with the Selby Metallic Gold Wedge that is an elevated classic. It’s an iconic summer shoe! A flat sandal may be more the gift you had in mind and if so, the Miller Mignon is a new twist on the Tory Logo Sandal.

As you can probably tell, Tory Burch is one of my favorite designers and i absolutely love her home collection! I’m always on the lookout for beautiful glassware to go with my huge collection of china. These green pressed glass water glasses go with new and vintage china and I love the green for a summer table. If your mom loves to entertain, these glasses will be a hit! This pitcher would make a perfect compliment to an al fresco lunch!

Another candle that you can’t go wrong with is the Grapefruit Scented Candle from Nest…an “exhilarating blend of pink pomelo grapefruit and watery green notes with lily of the valley and coriander blossom”. I’m burning one on my desk as I work!

Last, but not least, this cute Hibiscus Glass Vase makes a very thoughtful gift and made even more thoughtful when filled with spring blooms from the garden.

Yesterday, we had Sunday Funday with brunch outside…lots of family, good conversation and fun. I made a fabulous (if I do say so myself) brunch board that I’ll be sharing with you later today, so be sure to check back. I hope your week is off to a good start! Enjoy the Mother’s Day Boutique below that includes links to all of the gifts in my gift guide, plus a few extras. Just click the picture to shop!
