Ways to Style Leopard and A Confession
I almost didn't write this post. It feels strange, maybe even a little wrong, to talk about leopard print when everything feels like it's unraveling. I've been sitting with that tension for day and it feels very heavy. Butβ¦then I thought about what getting dressed has always meant to women, especially during hard times. It's never really been frivolous. It's been a quiet refusal to disappear and showing up is more important than ever right now. So today I'm showing up because joy is not the opposite of paying attention. It might actually be part of the resistance!
The idea for this post came when I ordered a pair of leopard pants from Cabiβ¦theyβre denim and have a slight barrel leg. I thought they would be so easy to style, but when I reached for the things I thought would easily work, somehow they didnβt. Soβ¦I went to Pinterest for inspiration and found some really good ideasβ¦leopard paired in ways I hadn't considered, skirts and pants styled with unexpected pieces. I'm going to be creating looks with my new pants over the next few days, but first I wanted to share what caught my eye and the pictures Iβll use for styling inspo.
I am such a visual person and finding pictures on Pinterest for inspiration is always so helpful when Iβm feeling stumped! Iβm planning to make a few collages later this afternoon that Iβll add to the post and then later in the week, Iβll do a post with my pants and different ways I styled them! I hope this post has been helpful!
Iβve linked a few pairs of leopard pants and tops to go with them in the boutique below! Iβm especially loving bright spring colors styled with leopard!
Thanks so much for reading today and remember that we have to keep showing upβ¦womenβs voices need to be heard now! If youβre interested - I wrote a Substack post yesterday and you can read it hereβ¦no pictures, no links, just how Iβm feeling!
