Feels Like Summer
Feels like summer for sure! We have been having what my mom used to say were the “dog days of summer”…hot, so humid you could cut it with a knife and hazy! We’re having a thunderstorm every afternoon and that makes the humidity even worse! There truly is no need to even worry about what your hair looks like because the minute you step outside, it either droops, gets frizzy or just plain goes crazy. And not to complain, but it’s so hard to go from inside to outside, or vise versa because the air conditioning feels so cold after being outside and the outside feels so hot after being inside. What’s a girl to do?
Well…even with the humidity and temps through the roof, it’s still fun to get dressed! The looks I’m sharing today are too much fun and there’s something for every taste! From a boho look with beaded jewelry, to a refined lady in St. Tropez look to an easy breezy two piece set that’ll take you anywhere - I’ve got something for every taste! Even after soooo many collages, I am still amazed at what I find on Amazon! Enjoy!
Two dresses, one pair of fabulous raffia platform mules! These cute mules would go with everything in your wardrobe…imagine how cute they would be with white or blue jeans or even shorts! Summer is made for fun jewelry and beaded jewelry is one of the biggest trends of the season…layer it with gold chains or more beaded jewelry…you can’t have too much!
The denim two piece set is one of my favorite Amazon finds! The pieces are great together, but also can be worn separately! I love a scarf and if it’s too hot to wear around your neck, tie it to your bag or wear it as a bracelet. Scarves add just a touch of interest to any outfit! The suede bag is so cute with denim and both pieces will take you right into the fall season! I’ve linked the denim espadrilles before and they are soooo cute (also love this variation)!
When I saw this wide brimmed hat, it immediately transported me to summer in St. Tropez! This sassy hat is perfect with the black jumpsuit and would be great with a swimsuit, poolside as well. Add just the right accessories to complete the look…including the fabulous black sunglasses and sandals!

It’s hard to choose a favorite look from all of these, but this look may be it…it’s easy boho style and would be so cute for an afternoon of errands, or an afternoon of sight seeing! I absolutely love the tee shirt paired with the flowy skirt and the sandals that go with everything! I don’t know about you, but I’m loving this raffia trend! And…more on the practical side, how cute is this leather bag? Add an interesting pair of earrings and an easy to wear beaded bracelet stack and you’ve got an outfit you won’t see just anywhere!
