What If You Went Casual This Valentine's Day?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the red dress and heels approach to Valentine's Day. Sometimes that feels amazing…you look in the mirror and think, "Yes, this is exactly the vibe." But what about the years when you just don't feel like it? When the idea of getting all dressed up feels like more work than fun?

I've been thinking about what a casual Valentine's Day look could be…something that still feels special and put-together but doesn't require the full production. The formula I came up with? Chocolates, a sheer red lip, and an outfit that feels effortless. Picture this…your favorite denim jacket (mine is from Ruti and sooo cute), leather pants that are polished but comfortable, adorable leopard sneakers that you can actually move in, the cutest graphic tee, and a bag that elevates the whole thing! Add a swipe of YENSA lip oil in the prettiest Valentine's red, and suddenly you've got a look that works whether you're grabbing dinner at that new casual spot, meeting friends for drinks, or just doing a low-key night at home.

The beauty of going casual is that you still get to feel special but you're doing it on your own terms. You're not sacrificing style for comfort because they can absolutely coexist. And there's something really lovely about showing up as your most authentic self, whether that's in a ball gown or a denim jacket. Valentine's Day should feel good, not stressful. So if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional Valentine's look this year, consider the casual route. It might just be exactly what you need. The fancy dress will be there when you want it…but sometimes, the denim jacket is the real MVP.

Headed to the airport and we’ll be in Florida before lunch…looking forward to a little sunshine!

Thanks so much for reading today!
