Fall is a time to slow down and savor simple pleasures, and I’ve put together four outfits to wear for different activities to capture the spirit of the season!
Imagine enjoying a crisp afternoon with a glass of wine on the porch while enjoying a charcuterie board. The weather here will be warm for a while longer, but our wardrobes can reflect the season with rich fall colors even if it’s too warm for sweaters!
A visit to a winery calls for an elevated yet relaxed look, something that feels just right for strolling through vineyards and lingering over tastings.
The pumpkin patch is all about playful seasonal charm—think comfortable, easy-to-wear pieces that let you fully enjoy hayrides, apple cider, and photo-worthy backdrops of golden fields.
And…for a cozy day of soup making at home, the vibe is warm and laid-back, perfect for stirring a pot on the stove while the aromas of fall fill your kitchen.

You may not want to make soup in this dress, but it’s definitely a great dress for eating soup! I love to make soup in my copper pot and let it simmer on the stove…it makes the whole house smell good and it looks pretty at the same time! Fall is the perfect time to visit a winery…the weather is beautiful and sipping a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon surrounded by grapevines is such a treat! This outfit is perfect for walking around…comfortable and put together! If you can’t make it to a winery, consider inviting friends over for a tasting!
I made this gorgeous charcuterie board last night for my son-in-laws birthday party and it was a hit! Everyone sipped wine, talked and grazed into the evening! This basket literally took me 30 minutes to assemble (not counting shopping)! I’m working on a blog post with the details so stay tuned!
I love the look of shorts, booties and a sweater for fall when it’s still warm outside and I love the combination of red pepper jelly on a cracker with a bite of cheese!
I just couldn’t help ordering the black dress below…it’s so perfect and easy to wear with cowboy boots for fall! My daughter ordered the boots in the metallic blue color and wore them last night with a black dress and the look was adorable!
I know it’s only September (almost), but I’ve already put out a few decorative pumpkins and fall scented candles!
We’re having a bit of “fake fall” weather here in North Carolina and it’s made me ready for the fall season!
