An Incredibly Chic and Effortless Everyday Look

Yesterday in the Substack post I wrote…I disclosed something shocking…I’m a denim girl and always have been!

I firmly believe you can wear jeans with almost everything and I couldn’t wait to style the fun top from Benaar LA that I’m wearing in this post with jeans! It came along with a tulle skirt (last seen here)…the two make a fabulous set, and luckily, the top is also perfect with jeans. I love a versatile piece that can be dressed up for a party or dressed down for everyday and this top is in that category.

Black is so easy because it goes with everything… this top would be amazing with a pair of wide leg pants and stilettos, but it’s good to know how chic it can be with a simple pair of straight leg jeans and kitten heel sling backs from Madison Maison! Getting dressed doesn’t have to be complicated!

The bag I’m carrying is also from Benaar LA…sadly, it’s no longer available but this one is fabulous (also very well priced) and would easily take this look from a dressier daytime look to an evening (holiday) look!

The pearls I’m wearing are from a company called Hart and I’m obsessed! I bought them at a new boutique in Burlington called Brown and I’ve been wearing them with everything from sweatshirts to dresses. Pearls are iconic and will always be in style. These are a fun - not too perfect and strung on a bronze cord so they don’t take themselves too seriously and really do jazz up a tee shirt! You can also buy charms to go on the clasp! These pearls make a great gift and my daughters are all getting them for Christmas!

I’ll be photographing this top and the tulle skirt together very soon…the two are smashing together and they’ll be all dressed up for a holiday party!

*I added the random pair of jeans from Mother above because I just purchased them yesterday and I love them! I wore them with this striped cashmere sweater from White & Warren (similar here and here) and a crewneck tee because it was so chilly here on the island!

Burlington is finally getting a few new shops and I’m so very happy about that! I mentioned Brown boutique above and we have another housewares and gift shop called Surfwood that is very close to my house! They have a curated selection of entertaining essentials, candles, books and so much more! If you’re in the area be sure to stop by!

I don’t have time for an Amazon post today but be sure to visit the Crazy Blonde Life Amazon Storefront and also be sure to check out my Shop Page to see the new items I’ve added! Also, yesterday’s post featured three fabulous Amazon collages filled with great ideas and affordable denim pieces…check them out here! I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but I’m starting to work on some gift guides because the holiday season is coming soon! I’m also planning to write more frequently on Substack so I hope you’ll sign up and read my articles. My Substack is called Simply Said By Suzanne and this article is one of my favorites…

I’m leaving Bald Head today and it really marks the end of summer for me. It’s so bittersweet because I’m ready for fires in our outdoor fireplace, butternut squash soup, Halloween and all the things that I love about fall but I do hate to see summer end! Life goes by too quickly!

Have the best day and thanks so much for reading!

~XOXO Suzanne
