Classics Reimagined
I love taking classic pieces and giving them a fresh and unexpected update. This post features two looks built around one standout pair of shoes… the boysenberry and burgundy striped stack-heel loafers from The Office of Angela Scott. They’re bold, timeless, and endlessly versatile. I am in love with this brand because it represents individuality…these shoes are for people who love fashion and want to add boldness and interest to their outfits. They’re well made, unusual, imaginative and fabulous! When I begin to build an outfit around a pair of shoes from The Office of Angela Scott, I feel immediately inspired! Fashion should be fun! In the first outfit, I styled them with brown corduroy jeans from Frame and a cardigan from Le Jean. It’s a relaxed, neutral look with an easy, classic feel.
For the second, I went with a berry sweater from Pistola, wide-leg jeans from Mother and a fabulous top handle bag from Savette. The deeper color of the sweater picks up the tones of the shoes and make the outfit feel pulled together.
Both outfits reflect my idea of being elegantly undone…easy, wearable, yet classic pieces styled in a way that feels effortless but still intentional. Each look is curated with a mix of textures, colors, and proportions that work together without feeling overthought.
Timeless pieces don’t have to feel traditional. With the right balance of polish and ease, even the classics can feel completely reimagined!

The holiday season will be so much different this year because we’ve completed our renovations (for now) and the house is put back together! We’re still working on the back patio, but by next week it should be done also and I’ll be ready to start decorating! It makes such a difference to feel settled…renovations are so difficult to live through! I’m very grateful for this crazy old house we live in…it seems to have a mind of it’s own and it is ever evolving!
