From Fall to Festive - Timeless Style with The Office of Angela Scott
It seems that all eyes are on Christmas now—and I’m definitely including myself in that category! It’s not that I’m eager to put up decorations this early, but I do want to enjoy them longer than in years past. So, I’ve decided to start decorating the house now in hopes of creating a cozy holiday atmosphere and giving myself a little more time to relax as the season unfolds. As an influencer, I’m already deep in creating gift guides and photographing festive party looks, so honestly, it feels like the holidays have already arrived!
But…today, I’m savoring the beautiful fall weather we’ve been having and wearing a look that’s perfect for a wonderful fall day and will also be great going into the holiday season, worn with a coat, of course!
I honestly cannot tell you how much I am enjoying the loafers I’m wearing here from The Office of Angela Scott. I’ve been going on about this company for quite some time now…the shoes are well made, unique, statement making and absolutely fabulous! I could walk ten miles in these gorgeous loafers and my feet would not hurt. I will wear out the soles and have them resoled as many times as necessary because I love them that much! This whole outfit was actually created around the shoes, even though black loafers are the easiest to style! I wanted a look that was classic and fun at the same time and that’s just how this outfit feels.
I’m wearing flats more often now than ever before…it’s not that I don’t love my heels and I’ll never stop wearing them, but flats seem more practical these days! And…with shoes as fabulous as these loafers, I don’t feel that I’m at all sacrificing style! I wore them with a black trench coat, a white blouse and a gorgeous scarf in this video and I styled them in a more street style way with ankle socks in this post! The great thing about these loafers is that you can literally throw them on with a white blouse, a pair of jeans and some fabulous sunglasses…they make the outfit! Life should be easy and stylish so consider a pair of shoes from The Office of Angela Scott!
The leopard pants I’m wearing are from Sézane (they just launched their winter collection yesterday and it’s fabulous!) and I’ve worn them with everything from a cozy cream sweater to a floral blouse and red pumps! After all…leopard is a neutral!
I decided to add a leopard bag with a contrasting leopard print just to mix things up a little and add some interest! I’ve had this bag from Clair V for many years and till carry it often. I’m unable to link it because it’s so old, but this one would be great!
The cropped cardigan is a great closet essential (first seen here) and I wear it often…it’s best with high waisted pants because of the cropped length. It’s a great lightweight layer that can be worn with skirts or pants and is great under a blazer or jacket.
I’ve been layering my necklaces lately and adding to my collection! This week, I added this gorgeous malachite necklace from Hart and this fun necklace and charm from Lauren Amble Designs!
As the seasons blend together, I’m embracing fall’s coziness and the sparkle of the holidays ahead. This look kind of captures an in-between moment…classic, comfortable, and just a little festive.
